Carolyn Elsey

Admitted to practice in 1994, Ms. Elsey has focused on helping families in crisis. For 18 years, Ms. Elsey was a solo practitioner handling cases in all aspects of family law while also working closely with Pierce County Department of Assigned Counsel to provide public defense services. In working with DAC, she served as the lead conflict attorney for the public defense child support docket for 6 years; represented families in juvenile court dealing with the foster care system; and, handled hundreds of cases for patients in state and local psychiatric hospitals. As an outgrowth of her family law practice, Ms. Elsey’s practice will include handling Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcies. Ms. Elsey’s practice with our office will also emphasize personal injury.
